1. Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas)
2015-16 record: 25-7
Head coach: Grant Rice

The Gaels are aiming for their seventh state title in the last eight years. This team will be led by the backcourt duo of Charles O'Bannon (6-foot-6, Sr., G) and BYU pledge Christian PoPoola Jr. (6-3, Sr., G). Transfer big men Darian Scott (6-9, Sr., F) and Jarvis Thomas (6-8, Jr., F) are major additions that should help Gorman keep up with its always-grueling schedule.

2. Findlay Prep (Henderson)
2015-16 record: 28-2
Head coach: Paul Washington Sr.

First-year head coach Washington has five-star son P.J. Washington to lean on. The 6-8 senior forward is regarded as a Top 25 prospect nationally and just committed to Kentucky. DePaul commit Justin Roberts (5-11, Sr., G), Donnie Tillman (6-7, Sr., F), Chris Giles (6-3, Sr., G) and Reggie Chaney (6-8, Jr., F) will be other key pieces for the Pilots, who do not compete in the NIAA state tournament. Findlay Prep checked in at No. 6 nationally in the MaxPreps preseason Independent Top 10.

3. Centennial (Las Vegas)
2015-16 record: 24-4
Head coach: Noah Hartsock Hartsock, a former player at BYU, takes over a pretty promising situation at Centennial. That's because he has one of the nation's best players on the roster. Troy Brown Jr. (6-7, Sr., G) is a recent Oregon commit who is regarded as the No. 13 overall prospect in the Class of 2017 by 247Sports. Brown averaged 19.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game as a junior.

4. Clark (Las Vegas)
2015-16 record: 27-4
Head coach: Colin Darfour

Another first-year coach, Darfour leads Clark into the state's largest classification with a talented group of young players. James Bridges (6-3, Jr., G/F), Trey Woodbury (6-2, Jr., G), Antwon Jackson (6-5, So., F), Sedrick Hammonds (6-2, So., G) and Ian Alexander (6-5, So., F) should keep the Chargers in the title hunt for the next few years.

5. Desert Pines (Las Vegas)
2015-16 record: 22-9
Head coach: Michael Uzan

Coach's kid Capri Uzan (5-11, Sr., G) is back after putting up 16.1 points and 5.3 assists per game en route to All-State honors as a junior. Trevon Abdullah (6-5, Sr., F) and Bryan Penn-johnson (6-9, Jr., F/C) give the Jaguars size and length. Eleven players from last year's roster are back.
