High school football in New Hampshire kicks off Sept. 4. In preparation
for openers around the Granite State, we size up the contenders
with a look at the state's top 25 teams across all four classifications.
Londonderry enters as the team to beat after capturing the program's first state championship since 1998. The Lancers ride a 12-game winning streak into 2020.
Two additional defending state champions which enter as favorites to repeat are No. 2 Hollis-Brookline (Hollis), which captured the Division II state title, and No. 4 Trinity (Manchester), the reigning Division III championship.
Also in Division III, last year's state finalist Lebanon begins the season with lofty expectations as they round out the Top 5.
