New Lothrop put the hurt on Michigan Lutheran Seminary with a sharp 41-21 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for New Lothrop, who have now won five matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Despite the loss, Michigan Lutheran Seminary still got an impressive performance from Carson D. koehler, who rushed for 207 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. D. koehler was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 56 yards.
New Lothrop's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.8 points per game. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
New Lothrop will be playing in front of their home fans against Ithaca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ithaca is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Michigan Lutheran Seminary does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
