Caleb Holt finished with 30
points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals on 12 of 20 shooting from
the field and 3 of 7 from 3-point range in the loss.
Lyon County was in control throughout the lopsided contest, leading 25-17 at the end of the first quarter, 51-28 at halftime and 77-41 at the end of the third period.
The Lyons shot 57.4 percent from the field, 57.1 percent from beyond the arc and 78.5 percent from the free throw line, while holding Buckhorn to 39.3 percent from the field and 29 percent from 3-point range.
