Perhaps you forgot about this one. Or you never saw it.
Either way, you're certainly not going to forget seeing an NBA mascot shatter a high school's backboard during halftime.
Boomer, the mascot for the Indiana Pacers, stopped by
New Palestine (Ind.) two years ago to entertain the crowd at halftime, and he certainly accomplished that feat. What he also accomplished was getting the rest of the game moved to an auxiliary gym.
The Pacers made well, according to WISH TV in central Indiana, as they worked with the school to replace the backboard and also invited more than 100 students from the school to be Boomer's guests at a Pacers home game.
MaxPreps had a photographer at New Palestine High for a girls game earlier in the month, but missed this amazing spectacle.
