Preseason No. 1 candidate La Lumiere headlines 2017 Cancer Research Classic lineup

West Virginia's top high school basketball showcase has announced its lineup of games.

The Cancer Research Classic will be held Jan. 6-7, 2017 at Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling.

A showdown between perennial powers Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) and La Lumiere (LaPorte, Ind.) – both Dick's Nationals qualifiers a year ago – is among the premier matchups.

Other preseason Top 25 candidates in the field include Greenforest (Decatur, Ga.), Roselle Catholic (Roselle, N.J.), Westlake (Atlanta, Ga.) and Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.).
