Kalek House came up with a crucial steal with under one minute remaining in the fourth quarter before converting a fastbreak layup with approximately 38 seconds remaining to tie things at 51. AZ Compass Prep stifled a pair of attempts to win it in the final seconds of regulation for Montverde Academy.
With 31.5 seconds remaining in the first overtime, Miller converted his second and-one of the extra session to knot things at 59. Philon came up with a block on a potential go-ahead basket at the other end with 1.5 seconds remaining to send things to a second overtime.
In the second extra session, scoring came at a premium as the two teams had just two points apiece before Delancy knocked down a pair of free throws with 1:20 remaining to give MVA a 63-61 edge.
