CLOWNEY UPDATEThe recruitment of Clowney may not be over by National Signing Day.
Bobby Carroll, his coach at South Pointe, told Palmetto Sports that he wasn't sure if the defensive end would have his mind made up by Feb. 2. Carroll also told the site that Clowney will cancel a visit to Clemson after Tigers' defensive ends coach Chris Rumph left the school for a job at Alabama.
Clowney, who was named the USA Today Defensive Player of the Year, has taken an official visit to South Carolina and will take one to Alabama on Jan. 14 and Florida State on Jan. 21.
