Sean Duggan made a verbal commitment Sunday to play college football at Boston College, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Duggan, who is 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds, is considered to be one of Ohio's top linebackers in the 2011 class. He also considered Michigan, Duke and Wisconsin. Many other schools offered, but Boston College and those three schools were the four finalists.
Duggan took an official visit to Boston College over the weekend with St. X teammate Steven Daniels, who is also a standout linebacker for the Bombers. Boston College has a number of St. X players on the roster this season, including sophomore linebacker Luke Kuechly, freshman kicker Rob Leonard and senior defensive end Alex Albright.
