Video: Top 10 Games of the WeekChaminade (West Hills, Calif.) at No. 3 Centennial (Corona, Calif.)
Friday, 7:30 p.m. Pacific timeWhy it's big: No. 3 Centennial could face an early challenge when the Pac-5 Division playoffs begin on Friday night.
Although it claimed only the fourth bid from the Mission League, Chaminade (7-3) showed what a dangerous team it can be by defeating Crespi and Serra (Gardena) by a combined margin of 78-21 the last two weeks.
Conversely, Centennial (10-0) absolutely sailed through its entire regular season schedule, winning every game by at least 21 points and compiling a 44-point average margin of victory.
Names to watch: Sophomore running back T.J. Pledger ran for 144 yards and three touchdowns in Chaminade's 38-21 upset win over Serra (Gardena) last week. Pledger already has scholarship offers from at least three BCS-level colleges, including USC and Georgia.
Centennial is on track for its sixth straight season with well over 6,000 yards of total offense. Arizona-bound senior running back
J.J. Taylor is the team leader in all-purpose yards with 1,320 followed by four-star receiver
Javon McKinley with 829 in only eight games.
