They had to suffer through a rough 56-10 loss at the hands of Ware Shoals. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind in their matchups with Ware Shoals: they've now lost nine in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ware Shoals to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jasir Farhan, who scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Brayden Medlin, who scored 12 points.
South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind bumped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.3 points per game. As for Ware Shoals, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCormick at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Ware Shoals is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Chester at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th.
