The future Tar Heel earned third team MaxPreps Junior All-America honors last season, averaging 14.1 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game to help the Crusaders finish the year ranked No. 4 in the final National Top 10.

He has played in just two games this season due to injury, appearing for a combined 32 minutes in a pair of losses at the Hoophall Classic.
Despite missing the majority of the year, the senior guard is continuing to rehab in hopes of returning this season.
Mingo had a strong summer on the circuit, earning MVP honors at the NBPA Top 100 Camp with averages of 23.8 points, 6.8 assists and 6.5 rebounds per contest and putting up 19.2 points, 7.8 rebounds. 2.6 assists and 2.2 steals per outing for the PSA Cardinals in the Nike EYBL.
Long Island Lutheran has struggled without their star this year as the Crusaders have a record of 10-10 overall and 4-7 in Nike EYBL Scholastic action after going 22-7 overall and 7-4 in conference play a year ago.
