The final weekend is here. CIF Northern California champions have been crowned at all divisions, from the big-boy Open down to the gritty and skilled Division V. The CIF finals will be held at Golden 1 Center, home of the Sacramento Kings and home of these championships through 2021.

Update: The Huskies reached a NorCal final for the fourth time since 2013 and won their second crown and first in the Open after downing Bishop O'Dowd 61-60 in a thriller at Leavey Center in Santa Clara. This sets up a showdown with powerhouse Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth for the CIF State Open championship on Saturday night at Golden 1 Center.

2. (1) Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland), 27-6Section: North Coast
League: West Alameda Foothill
Coach: Lou Richie
Update: Season complete. The Dragons has their 23-game winning streak snapped at Leavey Center in Santa Clara, falling to Sheldon 61-60. This closes out the career for Washington-bound guard
Elijah Hardy, who had a game-high 24 after going for 21 in a 61-58 semifinal win over Modesto Christian. O'Dowd this season also won its 18th North Coast Section title. Coach Richie showed terrific sportsmanship amid a crushing loss, embracing all of the Sheldon stars and wishing them well.
3. (2) Modesto Christian, 29-4Section: Sac-Joaquin
League: Modesto Metro
Coach: Brice Fantazia
Update: Season complete. The Crusaders had their 16-game winning streak halted with a 61-58 loss to Bishop O'Dowd in the Open Division semifinals as
Junior Ballard's half-court heave at the buzzer caromed off the rim. So ends the careers of Ballard,
Gabe Murphy and
Tyler Williams for a program that has won 19 section titles and has been a regular to the NorCal Open field.
4. (4) Folsom, 26-6Section: Sac-Joaquin
League: Sierra Foothill
Coach: Mike Wall
Update: Season complete. The Bulldogs lost in overtime to Sheldon in a Sac-Joaquin Section Division I semifinal, gained an 8-seed in the NorCal Open, stunned Salesian in overtime — and then fell against to Sheldon, this time in an Open semifinal. Standout defensive stopper and four-year starter
Mason Forbes is headed to Harvard.
5. (5) Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond), 30-2Section: North Coast
League: Tri-County Rock
Coach: Bill Mellis
Update: Season complete. The Pride had their 22-game winning streak snapped 75-70 in overtime to Folsom in an Open opener, leaving them at 0-4 in NorCal Open games since that format came into play in 2013. This ends the terrific career of guard
James Akinjo. Coach Mellis won his 500th game this season and returns a wealth of talent.
6. (6) Capital Christian (Sacramento), 22-8Section: Sac-Joaquin
League: Golden Empire
Coach: McCall Wollman
Update: Season complete. Seeded seventh in the NorCal Open field, the Cougars lost at No. 2-seeded O'Dowd 78-67 in an opener. This closed out the career for senior guard stars
Zachary Chappell and
Rick Barros. First-year coach Wollman blended in seamlessly and is on the cusp of a nice career.
7. (7) San Joaquin Memorial (Fresno), 25-7Section: Central
League: County/Metro
Coach: Brad Roznovsky
Update: Season complete. Because Memorial was placed into the NorCal Open Division, they were ranked here (usually, the Fresno and Central Section teams are placed in the SoCal playoff brackets). Memorial lost to Sheldon in a NorCal Opener 67-65 in overtime. The team will return dynamite guard
Jalen Green, who averaged just under 30 points a game. This was the top ranked in the Central section all season, having split two games with Modesto Christian.
8. (8) Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose), 24-4Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic

Update: Season complete.The Bells won their first Central Coast Section Open Division title and then fell at Modesto Christian in a NorCal Open opener, closing out the great career for
Jake Wojcik.
9. (9) Las Lomas (Walnut Creek), 31-3Section: North Coast
League: Diablo Foothill
Coach: Brian Dietschy
Update: The Knights beat Palo Alto 44-41 to win the program's first regional title since 1988 when coach Dietschy was a sophomore on the team (he ended up as the program's all-time career scorer).
Nate Robinson had 18 for Las Lomas, which plays Chino Hills for the CIF State Division I championship on Friday at Golden 1 Center. Las Lomas lost to O'Dowd 65-58 in the North Coast Section Division II finals, earned the No. 2 seed in the NorCal Division I field.
10. (10) Archbishop Mitty (San Jose), 13-16Secti0n: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Coach: Tim Kennedy
Update: Season complete. The Monarchs surged late and fell to Bellarmine in the Central Coast Section Open finals and then regrouped to beat Jesuit 73-54 and St. Ignatius 60-50 before falling to Las Lomas 84-70 in the semifinals. Mitty is ranked ahead of Palo Alto because of a 73-61 CCS playoff win.
11. (11) Palo Alto, 26-4Section: Central Coast
League: DeAnza
Coach: Peter Diepenbrock
Update: Season complete. The Vikings fell to Las Lomas 44-41 in the NorCal Division I finals. A 21-game winning streak came to an end against Mitty in the Central Coast Section Open Division playoffs. Palo Alto has been a basketball power for years and won a state title in 2006.
12. (14) Pleasant Valley (Chico), 31-2Section: Northern
League: Eastern
Coach: Tim Keating
Update: The winning streak is 18 for the Vikings, who, as the No. 2 seed in the NorCal Division III race, emerged as champions with a 62-53 victory over Central Catholic in the finals. They will play Notre Dame of Riverside for
the CIF D-III crown at Golden 1 Center. The girls team is also in the CIF state finals, making for a festive day for Chico, which embraces its sports achievements. PV represents the pride of the entire Northern Section.
13. (12) Heritage (Brentwood), 29-3Section: North Coast
League: Bay Valley
Coach: Pat Cruickshank
Update: Season complete. The winning streak ended at 17 for the Patriots with a 59-49 loss to Palo Alto in the NorCal Division I playoffs. Heritage won the North Coast Section Division I title.
14. (13) Dublin, 26-6Section: North Coast
League: East Bay
Coach: Tom Costello
Update: Season complete. The Gaels beat Serra 62-58 in a NorCal Division I opener then fell to Las Lomas 69-66 in a second-round game. Dublin lost 100-98 in double overtime to Heritage in the North Coast Section Division I playoffs.
15. (15) Central Catholic (Modesto), 31-3Section: Sac-Joaquin
League: Valley Oak
Coach: Mike Wilson
Update: The winning streak was halted at 23 in the NorCal Division III finals with a 62-53 loss to Pleasant Valley. This is not just a football powerhouse school. It's an everything athletic school.
16. (17) Alameda, 28-5Section: North Coast
League: Shoreline
Coach: Cameron Quick
Update: The Hornets capped a 4-0 run in the NorCal Division II field with a 76-66 overtime victory over St. Mary's to reach their first state final. On Friday at Golden 1 Center, Alameda plays

17. (16) St. Mary's (Stockton), 26-7Section: Sac-Joaquin

Update: Season complete. The Rams had their banner season end at top-seeded Alameda 76-66 in overtime in the NorCal Division II race.
Tre Jenkins and
Bryce Johnson each had 18 for St. Mary's, which beat Campolindo 67-65 in a semifinal.
18. (18) St. Ignatius (San Francisco), 18-10Section: Central Coast
League: West Catholic Athletic
Coach: Rob Marcaletti
Update: Season complete. The Wildcats opened NorCal Divison I play with a 71-54 win at Berkeley and then lost to league rival Mitty 60-50 in a second round game. Earlier playoff losses were to Bellarmine and Palo Alto in the Central Coast Section Open Division playoffs.
19. (19) Menlo School (Atherton), 25-4Section: Central Coast
League: West Bay
Coach: Keith Larsen
Update: Season complete. The Knights lost to St. Ignatius in the Central Coast Section Open playoffs then beat Clayton Valley Charter and Central in the NorCal Division I scramble before falling to Palo Alto 54-47 in a semifinal.
20. (20) Clayton Valley Charter (Concord), 26-4Section: North Coast
League: Diablo Foothill
Coach: Eric Bamberger
Update: Season complete. The Ugly Eagles had their dream season end in a NorCal Division I opener to Menlo School, 65-61. They lost to Heritage in the North Coast Section Division I finals.
