The Triad Baptist Christian Academy Titans will take on the Salem Christian School Vikings at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Triad Baptist Christian Academy has three straight wins, Salem Christian School has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, Triad Baptist Christian Academy made easy work of True Gospel Christian and carried off a 12-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven matchups by nine runs or more so far this season.

Jalee Fields was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Morgan Harrelson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Arabella Henderson, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Triad Baptist Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in nine consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Salem Christian School came up short against North Hills Christian on Friday, falling 33-20.
Salem Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Triad Baptist Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 9-1-1.
Everything went Triad Baptist Christian Academy's way against Salem Christian School in their previous meeting back in March, as Triad Baptist Christian Academy made off with an 18-2 victory.
