North Kingstown begins the season atop the Rhode Island football rankings as the Skippers look for their fourth consecutive state championship in 2020, entering the season on a 9-game winning streak.
Bishop Hendricksen kicks off the year ranked No. 2 in the state, coming off consecutive state championships and nine power four state titles since 2010.
Ultimately, the 2020 football season should be a fun one in Rhode Island as the state's top two programs look to fend off the field of talented newcomers challenging for the power four state title in 2020.
