The only day I think you can light fireworks in California is the 4th of July, so today Mike and I picked up a few while driving through Missouri to make up for lost time. The fireworks of choice are a set of twenty high flying, color making, aerial assault pieces of dynamite that should give us some excitement tomorrow night while in the desolate country called Montana. Be looking for this video to see how beautiful these fireworks turn out to be.
That basically sums up our day today because the rest of the day was spent driving. We have to be in Seattle, WA, this upcoming week for the 3A Bellevue versus Kennedy game at the Tacoma Dome. Bellevue is ranked #1 in the state of Washington with a 13-0 record, and they are coming off an impressive 47-0 victory over previous unbeaten and #7 team in the state Auburn. Kennedy is ranked #3 in the state with a 13-0 record as well, and has two Pac-10 recruits in lineman Kevin Frietag and RB Nate Williams to lead there team into battle.
The games as of late have showcased some very talented teams, and now have made our list of teams seen this year read: Warren Central, Euless Trinity, Blue Springs South, Oaks Christian, Lakeland, Colerain, Byrnes, St. Xavier, Wheaton-Warrenville South, Don Bosco, De La Salle, Texarkana, St. Bonaventure, Smithson Valley, Nease, and many many more. This week's game will just add to our elite list of teams seen, so as we lay down in South Dakota, I pray that we make it through the harsh weather in order to get the opportunity to watch the best Washington has to offer.
