Posting 10 straight seasons in the state Top 25 rankings, Colerain is the most dominant public high school football team from Ohio over the last decade.
Based on MaxPreps methodology, the Cardinals amassed 345 points from play over 2010 to 2019 to outdistance Wayne (243), Marion Local (228) and Trotwood-Madison (224).
Colerain didn't win a state title, but placed second in 2018 and was nationally ranked four times. Wayne advanced to three state finals and was nationally-ranked each time. Marion Local played in nine state finals over the last decade (won seven titles), while Trotwood-Madison played in the state championship seven times (three titles).
Our methodology includes:
• Top 25 finishes in the MaxPreps state computer rankings (25 points awarded to the No. 1 team, 24 for No. 2 and so on).
• Top 25 finishes in the MaxPreps national computer rankings (50 points for No. 1, 49 for No. 2 and so on).
