Thanks to my Aunt Sandy, who works at the happiest place on earth, Todd, Sam (Todd's Father), and myself got to experience Disneyland on the behalf of Walt himself. We rode Splash Mountain twice, ate a churro, and watched a stunning display of fireworks that were followed by a fake snow storm. After riding Splash Mountain the second time, Todd and I had to buy the picture of us putting up the "X" with our arms in dedication to MaxPreps. We ended up with a smile on our faces at the end of the day, and I think that is all Walt Disney would have wanted from us.
Before all this fun, I had a great breakfast with my Grandpa. He can't really see that well, but he jumped on that bike and led the way to a little diner down the street. He sure was quick on that bike and at ordering the biscuit and gravy that later on would get him in trouble with Grandma for getting off his diet. We talked sports, girls, and NASCAR (like how I didn't call NASCAR a sport, but if you gave a problem, please write me stating your reasons)*.
This was my day, and man was it a good one. We only have two more days left in the tour, and those two days are going to be here and gone faster than we think. It has been a great tour that has left me a ton of great memories, and I can't wait for the next chapter in my life to start.
*I had to say that about NASCAR for my Grandpa because he is a huge fan.
