Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, Calif.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Sequoia (Redwood City, Calif.), 33-3, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Gators led 12-3 at the half.
Sacred Heart Prep expanded its lead to 23 points entering the fourth quarter. SHP scored two times in the third, including once on a passing touchdown.
The Atherton school came into the game allowing 5.9 points per game. Sequoia's three points were well below their season average of 19.0 per game.
In a Peninsula - Bay game next week Sacred Heart Prep (8-0) takes on Terra Nova, and Sequoia (3-5) will go up against South San Francisco also in a Peninsula - Bay game.
