Episcopal (Baton Rouge) highlighted state championship action at Northwestern State in Natchitoches, as it won the Class 2A boys and girls cross country titles for the second year in a row. It was the 15th consecutive boys crown for the Knights and the 24th in 26 years.

St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge) won its second consecutive Class 5A girls title in winning its ninth meet of the season. Alexa Durham of
Fontainebleau (Mandeville) won the individual crown by covering the three-mile course in 18 minutes, 36.37 seconds.
Individual champion Philip Aucoin (15:40.32) powered Jesuit (New Orleans) to the boys team title.
Parkway (Bossier City) won the Class 4A boys title after it was wrongly announced that Ruston had done so.
Benton's runner Kaitlin Flattman won her fourth consecutive individual girls title to lift her team to the Class 4A team crown.
Holy Cross (New Orleans) won its second consecutive Class 3A boys title, while
Sacred Heart (Ville Platte) took home the girls crown.
Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie) placed four runners in the top 10 to win the Class 1A boys championship.
Hanson Memorial (Franklin) won the girls title.
Choudrant won both the Class B boys and girls crowns, while
First Baptist Christian (Slidell) captured the Class C boys championship and
Grace Christian (Alexandria) took the girls title.
SWIMMING: JESUIT CONTINUES REPEAT BUSINESSThe Jesuit (New Orleans) boys won their 27th team title in 29 years in taking the Division I crown in Sulphur.
Northshore (Slidell) won its third consecutive girls crown.
The Division IV girls title went to
University Lab (Baton Rouge), which won its seventh championship in eight years. Smacker Miles, the daughter of LSU football coach Les Miles, won four titles for the third year in a row. Teammate Caroline Forbes matched Smacker Miles' victory total.
St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace) successfully defended its boys team title.
The Division III team results had a familiar look to them as
Holy Cross (New Orleans) won its second consecutive boys title and
White (Thibodaux) earned its second girls crown in a row.
Vandebilt Catholic (Houma) won the Division II boys and girls titles for the first time since 2007.
VOLLEYBALL: WEST WINS ALL-STAR GAMEHaley Smith of Chalmette won Miss Volleyball MVP honors in helping the West sweep to victory over the East in the Louisiana High School Coaches Association All-Star Volleyball Game at Nicholls State in Thibodaux.
The West claimed victories of 25-20, 25-16, 25-21 in winning for only the sixth time in the 29-year history of the event. Teams have been chosen by lottery, not geographic location, since 2001.
The West used a pair of 5-0 runs in the first game to finally pull away. The East led in the second game, 9-8, before the West scored seven unanswered points. Kylie Pannell of Notre Dame of Crowley engineered the West's assault.
The West jumped to a 10-5 lead in the third game before the East closed to within 18-17. But the West distanced itself, and
Delaney Pittari of Fontainbleau (Mandeville) ended the match with a kill.
