NEW YORK – CBS College Sports Network, MaxPreps and Burger King Corp. are partnering to deliver a comprehensive lineup of top high school football action this season.
“MaxPreps High School Football Presented by BURGER KING” includes a schedule of eight primetime games to be broadcast nationally on CBS College Sports Network, showcasing top teams and matchups from across the country. The network kicks off the schedule of games on Friday, Sept. 5 as Robert E. Lee (Montgomery, Ala.) takes on Prattville (Prattville, Ala.) from Stanley-Jensen Stadium in Prattville, Ala.
The eight-game schedule features nationally ranked teams in * No. 3 Don Bosco Prep (N.J.), No. 15 Lowndes (Ga.) and No. 16 St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.), as well as elite recruits, Devon Kennard (Desert Vista High School, Ariz.) and Abry Jones (Northside Warner Robins High School, Ga.). In addition to live broadcasts, the full slate of games will also be streamed online, available at www.cbssports.com/cbscollegesports. The full schedule of games is included below.

As part of the sponsorship, the network will air a “BK Breakout Player of the Week” during each broadcast and produce a special “MaxPreps High School Football Presented by Burger King” section on MaxPreps.com. Burger King Corp. will also be the title sponsor of CBS College Sports Network’s annual college football National Signing Day show in February 2009.
In addition, “At the Game Presented by BURGER KING,” is a new, exclusive MaxPreps.com online application which will provide widespread and in-depth prep football coverage throughout the prep season. “At the Game Presented by BURGER KING” features weekly reports from 40 MaxPreps sideline reporters, who will collectively attend over 400 highs school games. The reports will include news, analysis and video highlights available at MaxPreps.com.
