Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf has not had much luck with Marie Philip recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
It was another big night for Xavier DeLeon, who scored 20 points along with nine steals and five assists for Marie Philip. DeLeon is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Jeremy Novas was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds.
Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Marie Philip, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Plants and Pillars HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marie Philip, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Waring at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
