East View (Georgetown, Texas) senior captivated the nation with his motivational, inspirational words following East View's thrilling 42-41 victory over Vandegrift.
The 6-foot, 190-pound Hester is also a trusted receiver for 4-0 East View, having made several big plays already this season.
He also sees time at defensive back.
The newly-famous Hester and his teammates will look to remain unbeaten in a Friday evening matchup against Vista Ridge.
