Included were modern marvels like Eagle Stadium in Texas (home of the Allen Eagles) and Fertitta Field in Las Vegas (home of Bishop Gorman), venues with a view like Sue D. Cooley Stadium in Hawaii and old school classics like the famous Stadium Bowl in Tacoma, Wash.
Understandably, some folks felt left out and let us know about it. Turns out, our efforts just scratched the surface as there are prep pigskin palaces to be found throughout our 50 states.

An interesting sidebar among the venues featured is the disparity in cost between various projects. Bristol Municipal Stadium in Tennessee was built for just $34,000 back in the 1930s while Legacy Stadium in Texas – which opened in 2017 – is believed to be the most expensive high school football stadium ever built at just over $70 million.
