There was no change to the top nine teams in the rankings, week over week, with St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia) and St. Frances Academy (Baltimore) filliping the Nos. 10 and 11 spots.
But the log jam at the top could come to a head in a few weeks when No. 1 Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) and No. 2 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) meet in a Trinity League showdown on Oc.t. 12.
Only schools recognized by two or more media outlets are eligible for
inclusion in the composite rankings. Teams were assigned a score of 40
for each media outlet that did not recognize them as part of their Top
25, rewarding teams that received consensus acclaim.
