MaxPreps is pleased to announce that the
Lafayette Lancers have officially been named to the 3rd Annual MaxPreps Volleyball Tour of Champions Presented by the Army National Guard.
This exclusive honor is reserved for only 10 of the best teams in the entire country. Given the fact that 17,000 varsity teams compete, that puts the Lancers ahead of 99.9 percent of their opponents!
In order to be eligible, the team not only had to be nationally ranked, but also had to win a state championship. Beating Lee's Summit West 2-0 on Nov. 3 marked the completion of an incredible 40-0 season — and earned Lafayette an invitation to the Tour of Champions.
