This week's postseason action didn't throw the rankings into complete disarray, but it did reorder the standings a decent amount. The action last week included a one-point thriller between De La Salle Collegiate and King.
Can't Touch This
Ithaca got a 27 - 0 win over St. Francis last week, and a key reason for the win was senior Joey Bentley. Bentley earned two touchdowns and 149 yards rushing the ball. That performance made Bentley one of the best players in the power rankings last week.
Movin on Up
The Lumen Christi Catholic offense has been a force to be reckoned with this season, and last week was no different. It breezed past Michigan Collegiate with a final score of 44 - 12. 44 is shaping up to be Lumen Christi Catholic's lucky number as the team posted the same point total in its win over Watervliet the game before. The success catapulted Lumen Christi Catholic 12 spots up the power rankings, enough to make it the biggest riser of the week.
Next Week's Big Game
The big showdown in the power rankings this week is between Clarkston (4th in the power rankings) and West Bloomfield (2nd). Both teams are rolling into the game after last-week wins. Only one team will win this week, so we'll see which team fails to repeat its success.
