North's only touchdown came on a 68-yard run by Alex Guiterrez in the third quarter.
The win was a nice bounce back for DV, which lost to Mission Hills last week, 13-0.
Desert Vista (1-1) goes up against Boulder Creek in a non-conference game matchup next week, while North (0-2) locks horns with San Luis also in a non-conference game.
