There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. That and more in this week's report.
Can't Stop Won't Stop
It was another outing, another win last week for the team with the longest stretch of success (14 consecutive games). Wells had all the answers against Madison/Carrabec, winning 34 - 12. Even if it didn't bump Wells up the rankings, the victory at least kept team from dropping.
This Week's Big Showdown
The confrontation between Marshwood (1st in the power rankings) and Falmouth (4th) did not disappoint. Marshwood had just enough, edging out Falmouth 31 - 28. The outcome was a definite jolt of excitement for Marshwood after its previous game, where the margin was anything but close.
