Another overpowering performance by Katy and a close call by DeSoto in Week 10 led to a shakeup at the top of this week's MaxPreps Texas Top 25.

DeSoto dipped from first to second after being forced to rally from behind in the fourth quarter of a 37-23 victory over Mansfield.
Katy and DeSoto are two of 12 unbeaten teams ranked in the Top 25.
With the regular season complete, the playoffs begin this week. The magic number becomes six for schools in Class 5A and 4A; it takes six playoff wins to earn a state title. It all culminates the weekend of Dec. 20-22 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.
