With the playoffs underway, it shouldn't be a shocker to learn that this has been a helter-skelter week in the power rankings. Among the games was a one-point thriller between Pickerington Central and Hilliard Bradley.
Welcome
The Avon offense has been a force to be reckoned with this season, and last week was no different. It picked up a decisive 'W' against Springfield, finishing up at 49 - 14. Can't Touch This
Reynoldsburg got a 52 - 0 win over Start last week, and a key reason for the win was junior Mike Whatley. Whatley threw for 145 yards and four touchdowns. In fact, our algorithms singled out Whatley as one of the top players in the power rankings for the week.
No Stoppin 'Em
The match between Winton Woods and Olentangy last week put some strain on the scoreboard; in fact, with a total of 91 final points, it was the highest scoring contest in the power rankings for the week. Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Winton Woods beat Olentangy 49 - 42. Despite Winton Woods's win, the team was passed up by other teams in the power rankings and gave up six spots in the rankings.
