MaxPreps Top 25 Regional Football Computer Rankings: Midwest Region

Ohio teams were on the move in this week's MaxPreps Midwest Region Football Computer Rankings as two teams from the state joined the top 10.

Mentor jumped from No. 12 all the way to No. 4 while St. Ignatius (Cleveland) moved from No. 16 to No. 6. A total of six Ohio teams now populate the top 10 in the Midwest.

Ohio also had the only new team to enter the rankings this week with Archbishop Alter joining the rankings for the first time at No. 16.

Carmel holds the top spot for the second straight week with a 1.5-point advantage over No. 2 St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio).

The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings. The Midwest region includes teams from Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska and North and South Dakota.
