Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia) posted a 48-7 win over Malvern Prep (Pa.) to move up 11 spots in this week's MaxPreps northeast region football computer rankings.
Imhotep Charter comes in at No. 5 this week, moving up from No. 16.
Cumberland Valley made a similar move, going from No. 18 to No. 7 following a 25-24 win over Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, Pa.).
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Northeast region includes teams from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
