Video: Norcross High School unveils nation's largest video boardAn up-close look at one of the most impressive video boards in the country. It's nearly as tall as two giraffes and contains enough square footage to make New York City apartment dwellers jealous.
Meet Norcross' brand new video board, the largest at any high school in America.
The video board is nearly 30 feet tall and 52 feet wide, comprising an area of 1,513 square feet.
That makes the video board larger than the one at Bryant-Denny Stadium, home of the Alabama Crimson Tide, and on par with video boards at Clemson and Stanford.
‘'It's a great rallying point for our community,''
Norcross (Ga.) head coach Keith Maloof
told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Maloof also said that advertisements will allow the board to pay for itself.
Norcross, which took home state titles in 2012 and 2013, will put the video board into action on Saturday, when it opens its season against Valdosta.

Norcross' new video board is the nation's largest.
