McNamara tossed out seven scoring strikes in a 55-0 win over Galena (Reno), bringing his career total to 139.
That eclipses former Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) quarterback Jarrett Solomon, who threw for 138 from 2009-12.
Against Galena, McNamara connected on 19 of 22 attempts for 305 yards. He hit younger brother
Kyle for the record-breaking score. Damonte Ranch improved to 10-0 with the win.
McNamara, who has thrown 32 touchdown passes this season, committed to Michigan in April. He's considered the top prospect in the state of Nevada this year by
