See the Cass Tech running back in action.
With the high school football season complete in the midwest, Cass Tech (Detroit) finishes the season ranked No. 1 in the MaxPreps midwest region football computer rankings.
Cass Tech was never ranked No. 1 during its season, which ended Nov. 26. However, it took over the No. 1 spot following St. Ignatius's loss to St. Xavier in the Ohio Division 1 final on Dec. 2.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Midwest region includes teams from Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska and North and South Dakota.
