Amare Jones flew over the competition at the Ford Center on Friday night – literally.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound junior darted for the end zone and completely cleared a Centennial defender at the goal line to complete a 15-yard touchdown run.
Style points for the flawless landing.
Jones torched the Titans for 407 rushing yards, 134 passing yards and nine total touchdowns in a 76-58 victory in the season finale.
It wasn't all roses for Jones and the Coyotes this season as they struggled to a 2-8 record. But Jones was a bright spot, finishing with 1,984 rushing yards, 1,552 passing yards and 45 total touchdowns.
