The Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They really took it to Kingman Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 83-53 victory at home. The victory was familiar territory for Arizona Lutheran Academy who now have eight in a row.
Noah Draper was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephan Iron shell, who scored 23 points.
Kingman Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cade Benson, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks, and Josh White who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Benson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. Chase White was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Arizona Lutheran Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Kingman Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
Arizona Lutheran Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mohave Accelerated at 7:30 p.m. Mohave Accelerated will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while Arizona Lutheran Academy is ranked 44th). As for Kingman Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Heritage Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
