Five new teams enter the Top 25, led by No. 18 Edwardsville, Ill. This week also brings the first state champions from these rankings, as No. 19 Lincoln (Sioux Falls, S.D.) and No. 25 Fargo South (N.D.) both wrapped up state titles.

1. (Last week 1) Colerain (Cincinnati) 12-0The Cardinals overcame a second-quarter 10-0 deficit to defeat Pickerington Central (Pickerington) 38-20 in the Division I regional quarterfinals.
DeTuan Smith ran 30 times for 226 yards and two touchdowns.
Kelvin Cook added 118 yards on 15 carries — including a spectacular 54-yard touchdown during which he broke five tackles.

2. (2) St. Edward (Lakewood, Ohio) 10-1The Eagles defeated Cleveland Heights 42-7 during the Division I regional quarterfinals as
Brett Kean completed 18 of 31 passes for 218 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

3. (3) Cass Tech (Detroit) 12-0Jayru Campbell dominated previously unbeaten and No. 17-ranked Dakota (Macomb) during a 32-17 victory in the finals of the Division I regional. The junior quarterback helped his team post its 18th consecutive victory by completing 13 of 18 passes for 201 yards and one touchdown and running for another 146 yards and three touchdowns.

4. (4) Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, Mich.) 12-0The Warriors had six sacks and two interceptions while handing U-D Jesuit (Detroit) a 41-14 defeat to win the Division 2 regional.
Alex Malzone set the pace by completing 13 of 18 passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns.

The Crusaders handed Elder (Cincinnati) its first shutout in six years, 24-0, in the Division I regional quarterfinals. The defense forced six turnovers and made four sacks.
Gus Ragland paced the offense by running for 136 yards on 21 carries and scoring twice.

6. (6) Montini (Lombard, Ill.) 12-0The Broncos nipped Joliet Catholic Academy (Joliet) 22-21 during the Class 5A state quarterfinals.
Stephen Dennis snared a tipped pass from
Alex Wills for a 29-yard touchdown and then
Nile Sykes ran for the winning two-point conversion with 4:11 left. Wills finished with 226 yards on 18 of 32 passes, with two touchdowns.

7. (7) Blue Springs (Mo.) 12-0The Wildcats routed Lee's Summit 63-21 for the second time in four weeks during the Class 6 state quarterfinals.
Dalvin Warmack ran for 150 yards and three touchdowns, while
Ian Brown threw three touchdown passes to
Kaleb Prewett.
Next: Friday at Eureka in the Class 6 state semifinals
8. (8) Eden Prairie (Minn.) 11-0The Eagles, who never punted, scored four touchdowns in the second quarter to rout Totino-Grace (Fridley) 47-22 in the Class 6A state semifinals.
Anthony Anderson ran 13 times for 122 yards and one touchdown, while
Charlie Venable added 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 12 carries.

9. (10) Mount Carmel (Chicago) 11-1The Caravan edged Downers Grove North 7-0 as
Christian Searles made two interceptions and
Matt Domer rushed for 128 yards in the Class 7A state quarterfinals. The defense allowed just 26 yards and one first down.
Sam Connolly scored the lone touchdown — with a one-handed grab in the corner of the endzone — on an 11-yard pass from
Marko Boricich just before halftime.

10. (11) Loyola Academy (Wilmette, Ill.) 11-1The Ramblers used five forced turnovers and five sacks to post their fourth shutout during a 35-0 victory over Maine South (Park Ridge) in the Class 8A state quarterfinals.
Jack Penn completed 15 of 18 passes for 164 yards and two touchdowns and ran for two other touchdowns, while
Jack Gleason made three interceptions.

11. (12) Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) 11-1The Hilltoppers defeated Schaumburg 42-21 during the Class 7A state quarterfinals, boosting their winning streak to 11 games.
Scott Andrews set the pace by running 19 times for 177 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

12. (13) Dowling (West Des Moines, Iowa) 13-0The Maroons defeated Valley (West Des Moines) 17-3 in the Class 4A state semifinals as
Ryan Boyle ran for 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

13. (14) Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, Ohio) 12-0The Falcons flew past Westerville Central (Westerville) 40-24 in the Division I regional quarterfinals.
Antwan Harris carried 35 times for 147 yards,
Darrin Hall 19 times for 121 yards and
Gabe Chepke made two interceptions.

14. (16) St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, Ohio) 12-0The Fighting Irish raised their winning streak to 18 games with a 35-7 victory over Poland Seminary in the Division III regional semifinals.
Parris Campbell was the pacesetter with 18 carries for 129 yards and one touchdown.

15. (18) Kimberly (Wis.) 13-0The Papermakers eliminated Waukesha West 21-10 during the Division 2 state semifinals as sophomore
Blair Mulholland ran 28 times for 212 yards and one touchdown.
Scott Schreiber added 89 yards and a pair of scores.

Phillipie Motley caught touchdown passes of 80 and 50 yards from
Nick Iske as the Wildcats ousted Pickerington North (Pickerington) 20-7 during the Division I regional quarterfinals.
Alex Backenstoe made four tackles for losses.

17. (20) Lake Zurich (Ill.) 11-1The Bears defeated heavy rain and Wheaton North (Wheaton) 16-6 during the Class 7A state quarterfinals.
Dillon Schassler led a balanced running attack with 10 carries for 81 yards and one touchdown.

18. (NR) Edwardsville (Ill.) 12-0The Tigers nipped Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort) 21-14 during the Class 7A state quarterfinals on a 22-yard scoring run by junior quarterback
Dan Marinko with 54 seconds left. Marinko finished with 18 carries for 167 yards and completed 16 of 29 passes for 152 yards.

*19. (21) Lincoln (Sioux Falls, S.D.) 11-0, season completeThe Patriots completed their first-ever undefeated season by beating Roosevelt (Sioux Falls) 47-24 for the Class AAA state championship. MVP
Caden Quintanilla set several records while running 30 times for 244 yards and four touchdowns. The defense forced five turnovers and the Patriots finished strong with a 27-0 second half.
20. (22) Boylan (Rockford, Ill.) 12-0The Titans edged Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake) 21-17 in the Class 6A state quarterfinals.
Demry Croft completed 21 of 29 passes for 235 yards and one touchdown while also running 11 times for 59 yards and two scores.
Brock Stull made eight catches for 121 yards and one touchdown.

21. (24) Omaha North (Omaha, Neb.) 11-1Junior star
Calvin Strong (39 carries for 220 yards and three touchdowns) scored on a 17-yard run with 1:08 left to give the Vikings a 39-34 victory over Grand Island in the Class A state semifinals.
Cole Bixler had a fumble recovery and returned an interception for a 66-yard touchdown.

22. (NR) Arrowhead (Hartland, Wis.) 12-1The Warhawks made three interceptions while beating Hudson 38-14 during the Division I state semifinals.

Cody Sellhausen each ran for two touchdowns and
Jonathan Duranso passed for 128 yards.

Jeremy Dunham passed for 151 yards and a pair of scores.

*25. (NR) Fargo South (N.D.) 9-3, season completeThe Bruins upset then No. 25 Bismarck 42-34 to snap its 28-game winning streak and capture the Class AAA state championship. Junior standout
James Johannesson carried 36 times for 237 yards and three touchdowns. Another junior,
Ty Brooks, scored on a 59-yard reception and a 43-yard return of a wild lateral.
Zach Kellen passed for 177 yards.

No. 15 Center Grove (Greenwood, Ind.) lost to Warren Central (Indianapolis) 12-7.

No. 23 Carroll (Wichita, Kan.) lost to Salina South (Salina) 21-19, ending a 23-game winning streak.
No. 25 Bismarck (N.D.) lost to Fargo South (Fargo) 42-34, ending a 28-game winning streak.

Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio,
South Dakota and Wisconsin.
