The Pinnacle Panthers won the last time they faced the Utah Military Academy - Hill Field Thunderbirds, and things went their way  on Wednesday too. Pinnacle skirted past Utah Military Academy - Hill Field  23-20. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Pinnacle.
 Pinnacle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jazmyne Mullis led the charge by  scoring  no points along with ten  steals. Those ten  steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jostyn McLean, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and ten  rebounds.
 Despite the loss, Utah Military Academy - Hill Field still got an impressive performance from   Kendall Prieto, who  scored 14 points. The  contest was  Prieto's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
 Pinnacle has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinnacle will take on Whitehorse at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Whitehorse is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against American Prep WV at 7:00  p.m. American Prep WV's defense has only allowed 24.9  points per game this season, so Utah Military Academy - Hill Field's offense will have their work cut out for Utah Military Academy - Hill Field.
