Winnsboro (Texas) recorded the sixth-fastest 100 meter time in high school track and field history Thursday by running a blazing 10.02 at the UIL Conference 3A state championship.
The time is the fastest in the nation this spring and capped a dominant career for the Mississippi State football signee.
On the gridiron, Capehart used his 5-foot-9, 155-pound frame to fly by defensive backs and scored 55 touchdowns in his career.
With the three-star wide receiver on the outside, Winnsboro went 30-6 with six postseason victories over the past three seasons. Capehart holds every single-season and career receiving mark in school history.
