Westfield enters Saturday's contest with 13 consecutive wins after opening the year with a loss to once-nationally ranked Manvel. Westfield attained entry to the state semifinals for the first time since 2004 with a 24-19 win over Spring. It was the Mustangs' ninth win in the last 11 meetings over their Spring ISD rival.
