This will be a bit of a new-look roster but one built around and handful of Division I prospects, including newcomer Hale – a native of Tennessee and early verbal commitment for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
First-year Greenies Allen, Hairston and Johnson will operate in a re-vamped backcourt with Level on the wing. Both Johnson and Level are considered elite sophomore recruits.
With all the new faces, Gaines can lean on underappreciated forward Weeks, a rough-and-tumble competitor and consistent double-double producer last season.
Tournament appearances at the Chick-fil-A Classic in South Carolina and Arby's Classic in Tennessee highlight the schedule. Christ School also meets
Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.) in February.
