The USA Football/MaxPreps High School Football Media Day hosted by the San Francisco 49ers took place on Wednesday, with nearly three dozen area high school teams appearing at Levi's Stadium before a dozen local media members.
However, in a day filled with high school athletes taking the stage, it was 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula who stole the show, addressing the players and expressing his love of high school football.
"This is huge, man," Tomsula said. "This is high school football and this is your senior year. It's huge and exciting and it should get you fired up. It should be the last thing you think about before you fall asleep and the first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning. It's huge."
Tomsula went on to say that high school football games are the only games he pays to go see. Check out the full speech in the video above.
