The multi-sport quarterback led the Lions to a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division I championship just nine months after helping the McClatchy girls basketball team to a section crown. She had five touchdown passes in the championship game against
West Park (Roseville).

Throckmorton threw for 7,934 yards with 112 touchdowns and ran for 1,149 yards with 11 scores on the ground in 2025. For her career, Throckmorton totaled 230 passing TDs with more than 18,600 total yards in leading McClatchy to a 51-7 record over her two-year varsity career. Her 16,559 career passing yards ranks fourth all-time and second-most in California.
She also became the first female quarterback in the history of the Lions' tackle football team this past fall, and earned a spot in the NFL FLAG High School Girls Showcase at the Pro Bowl in this past February.
Cal Poly flag football has made waves at the collegiate level over the past two months, starting with the hire of head coach Rod Sherman, who previously coached tackle football at
Orange Lutheran (Orange).
