La Lumiere (LaPorte, Ind.) beat No. 2
Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) 69-54 on Saturday afternoon in the marquee matchup at the Cancer Research Classic in Wheeling, W.Va.
Both teams were coming off impressive wins Friday at the event as La Lumiere (16-0) dominated Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, Ohio) 85-44 and Findlay Prep (17-1) handled First Love Christian Academy (Washington, Pa.) 99-78.
But La Lumiere rose to the occasion Saturday, getting 24 points and 17 rebounds from versatile 6-foot-10 forward
Jaren Jackson.
