When Scott Blade became the new head football coach at Hillsboro three years ago he vowed the Burros would play the best competition around.
When the Burros met Montgomery Bell Academy last season, the city of Nashville was treated to a special game with the Big Red winning 17-12.
This year with both teams are loaded with talent and hooked up at Hillsboro for a televised game Thursday night.
The Big Red led 16-7 in the fourth quarter but Hillsboro scored with nine minutes left in the game to make the score 16-14.
The Burros then started another touchdown drive but the MBA defense came up big late, intercepting quarterback Greg Young twice in the last four minutes of the game to hold on to a hard-earned 19-14 win.
