The 2013 California Interscholastic Federation State Football Championship Bowl Games are fast approaching, and we've got you covered with all the information you could possibly need.

Before we get into predicting which teams are most likely going to make it to the regional bowls, check out all the pertinent links to brackets and rankings, plus important dates. Scroll down for our predictions.

* Open Division: The top two teams selected from each region will play each other, regardless of school enrollment.

Note: If a D-III section champion is within the D-IV enrollment parameters of 1-500, they will be moved to that division for Bowl Game consideration. If there are no schools available for selection in D-IV, the two smallest remaining D-III schools will become the D-IV representatives. If only one school is available for selection in D-IV, the smallest remaining D-III school will become the other D-IV representative.

Only section champions will be eligible.

* Strength of schedule (Preseason – League – Section Playoffs) 
* Head-to-head competition
* Common opponents
* Suitability to represent the state in a Bowl Championship with regards to Pursuing Victory with Honor and acceptable standards of sportsmanship.

OPEN DIVISION
Folsom (14-0) vs. De La Salle (Concord) (13-0)

These teams met last year in the Open Division game with De La Salle winning 49-15. Both Folsom and De La Salle are nationally ranked and it would be a major upset if either lost. The bigger question may be, will Sac-Joaquin Section Commissioner Pete Saco try and get Folsom in the Division I game so arguably the two best Northern California teams can play at the state bowls? Not likely.

DIVISION I
Del Oro (Loomis) (12-2) vs. Serra (11-2)

Del Oro beat Elk Grove in an amazing comeback. Serra beat Archbishop Mitty.

Likely Contenders:
None

DIVISION II
Enterprise (Redding) (12-0) vs. Manteca (13-1)

Enterprise won the Northern Section Division I title game. The Buffaloes have one loss.  Manteca has impressive wins over Inderkum and then a huge win over Sacramento.

Likely Contenders:
Miramonte (Orinda) (12-2) - The Matadors beat Casa Grande.
Los Gatos (10-3)- Los Gatos with an impressive win over St. Francis.


DIVISION III
El Cerrito (12-2) vs. West Valley (Cottonwood) (12-1)

West Valley finished with an overall record of 12-1 with their lone loss being to Division II contender Enterprise. El Cerrito with an impressive when over Marin Catholic.

Likely Contenders:
Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, Calif.) (12-1) - The Gators have a good chance after a big win over Pacific Grove in the Central Coast Division IV finals.

DIVISION IV
Central Catholic (Modesto) (13-1) vs. McClymonds (Oakland) (10-2)

The defending state champs are a lock here if they win out in the SJS. Last year McClymonds got the bid with three losses. These year they have only two, which would include a 38-24 loss to Central Catholic. These teams met in the regional bowl last season as well.

Likely Contenders:
Le Grand (12-0) - Le Grand went undefeated on the season. But will the committee consider its schedule too weak? They will be rooting for Central Catholic to fall to HIlmar.
Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento) (10-2) - The Pride's two losses were to bigger schools, but strength of schedule could keep them out.
