You voted, you decided...the MaxPreps and JJHuddle girls basketball athlete of the week voting has come to a close for the 2016-2017 school year.
Each week during the season (regular and post), there was a
fan-generated contest to tab
weekly winners. Each winner
receives awards (bracelets and certificates).
How does it work? Fans nominated top performances and nominees were also selected from those schools that reported stats on MaxPreps. Weekly finalists were announced on MaxPreps and JJHuddle every Tuesday and voting was be conducted in a special poll. Voting ceased at noon on Mondays. The winners (two per week) were announced the next day along with the next week's nominees. Voters were allowed to vote as many times as they wanted. It's a competition.
Look for baseball and softball athlete of the week awards to start April 10.
