Here's a look at developments that shaped this week's Top 25:

In what has grown into one of high school basketball's biggest rivalries, Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) knocked off Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) 75-68 behind a monster performance from 7-foot-3 Oregon commit Bol Bol, who finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds in the win.

The two programs have dominated Nevada high school hoops over the past decade and solidified themselves as the top two teams in the state. The Gaels are going for an unprecedented seventh consecutive Nevada 4A state championship this season, while Findlay Prep is the only team in the nation to qualify for Dick's Nationals every year since the 2009 inaugural event.

Montverde Academy Invitational

The Montverde Academy Invitational begins Thursday and features the best field in event history. Top-ranked Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) hosts fellow Top 10 squads Shadow Mountain (Phoenix) and Findlay Prep.

Montverde will be hungry to recapture the event title after falling in the championship game to Imhotep Charter (Philadelphia) a year ago. The Eagles sit on the bottom half of the bracket with Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, La.), The Villages Charter (The Villages, Fla.) and Miami Christian (Miami).

The bracket's top half features Findlay Prep, Shadow Mountain, Abington (Pa.) and Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.).

Paul VI takes down DeMatha

Paul VI (Fairfax, Va.) has solidified itself as the team to beat in the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference over the past two weeks, knocking off previously unbeaten Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) 67-53 and notching another signature win last week, defeating DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) 93-78 behind 33 points from 5-star sophomore guard Jeremy Roach.

At 8-0, Paul VI is the only unbeaten team left in the WCAC, the toughest conference in the country, one game ahead of Gonzaga and two ahead of DeMatha.

This week, only one game will feature two teams ranked in the top-half of the standings when DeMatha faces St. John's (Washington, D.C.) on Tuesday.

Over the weekend, the top two teams in the WCAC standings will represent the DC area against two of the Garden State's best. Paul VI faces Roselle Catholic (Roselle, N.J.) and Gonzaga takes on Immaculate Conception (Montclair, N.J.) on Saturday at Gonzaga in the DC vs. NJ Challenge.
